The dog owner said that it was a part of a prank video and after the investigation by the Los Angeles police was concluded, they determined that the incident did not rise to the level of animal cruelty. The case has been confirmed as already closed.
Houts denied in a lengthy statement that she abused her dog. She said that she was just playing up her mood with her dog in relation to the prank that they were going to film. The dog has been part of the many videos uploaded by the YouTuber in the past.
