A woman from Georgetown, Texas named Rhonda Minardi decided to run a sanctuary for doggos that cannot get a fur-ever home. According to Minardi, she had the idea back in December when she saw a Christmas tree that had names of doggos that needed donations while they stayed at the Williamson County Animal Shelter.

Minardi was getting her dog at a day care for doggos when she saw the Christmas tree. The dogs on the Christmas tree were actually senior doggos and she did not like the idea of having these old dogs spend the rest of their years in the shelter. She then bought a land so she could start building the sanctuary. The sanctuary is called Living Grace Canine Ranch.
The doggos on the ranch will have their own room, a bed, and a doggy door. They would have time to spend outside the patio and will be walked every day. They will also have a play area and music being played in their rooms to help them relax. As of now, she is planning the first building that would house 16 to 22 senior doggos. She is asking for donations to make her plans possible.
She further hopes to have a second building that would house around 30 senior doggos.
