A medium-sized wild cat, known as a lynx, attacked a doggo. The dog owner pinned the lynx down to free her doggo.

According to reports, the doggo escaped the attack without any injuries but the dog owner had to pin down the lynx for 20 minutes. The dog owner said she had to pin down the lynx for quite a time so that the area could be cleared of people and other dogs first before it can be released again. Thankfully, when the lynx was released, it ran off and did not attack anyone else.
The incident took place while the dog owner and her boyfriend took their doggos for a walk at Yellowknife’s Tin Can Hill. They had their three dogs with them close by and they weren’t on a leash when one of them was attacked by the lynx.
The dog owner said they are not going back to the trail again anytime soon.
