The incident took place when the woman, Kristin Salinas-Labrador, was coming back from work. She then saw the doggo, a black Labrador, on the road and she tried to get near him. However, the doggo was too afraid. Luckily, she had tortillas with her and she used that to get the doggo inside her vehicle. She then brought the doggo back home.

She and her partner then gave the dog the nickname Taco. They already had the dog checked for a microchip but nothing came up. They posted photos of the doggo online but no one came forward yet.

The woman and her partner always rescue animals and try to adopt them out. They want to keep Taco but they already have a lot of rescue dogs at home. So, if no one will claim the Taco, they would be adopting him out.
