Earlier this week, a group of activists went to the police station at Bakersfield, California to ask from the force a recommendation of charges against a woman. The woman was spotted dragging a doggo while she was on her electric scooter.

– Police are now recommending charges against the woman.
Bakersfield Police recently released a statement saying that they will be recommending charges against the woman, a 39-year-old licensed psychologist. Details about the charges are yet to be available to the public. The woman was initially interviewed by police after the video showing the animal cruelty went viral online. However, she was later released. When the dog was found, the doggo’s paws were bloodied from the dragging.
Accordingly, the dog is not owned by the woman. It is unclear how the woman got hold of the dog or if she is in any way related to the real dog owner.
