– In West Australia, new measures will soon be adopted.
– These measures are mainly about doggos.
– One of which is the closing down of puppy farms.
West Australians are supporting three major reforms namely dog de-sexing, converting pet shops into adoption centers, and closing down puppy farms. Seventy-seven of the public wants mandatory de-sexing because it will reduce the number of unwanted and unplanned doggos.
As to adoption centers and puppy farms, the government wants families and other potential dog owners to consider getting a dog for the Holidays from adoption centers or registered breeders and not from puppy farms.
The drafts concerning the adoption of possible laws regarding this dog-related issues will most probably be done by next year.
