A veteran just lost his service doggo and police from Arlington, Texas are asking the public to help them find the missing dog. The dog was stolen last October.

The dog, a two-year-old Mastiff named Rosalyn, was taken from the home of the veteran. The culprit or culprits first broke into the home and stole several items then took the doggo. The Arlington Police Department said that the dog is also a medical alert dog and that the dog owner just wants his companion back because “days are just really hard without her.” The dog owner is a war veteran from Iraq and he deals with a lot of night terrors. The dog owner noted, “It’s very had to turn off the conditions of war, and Roz is there to wake me up at times when I should be alone by myself asleep.”
There remains no suspects regarding the October 19 incident but the investigation by the police is still ongoing. Anyone who has information is encouraged to call the Arlington Police Department at 817-459-6482 or leave an anonymous tip with Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477.
