After two years, a doggo can prove that he is not dangerous after all. The doggo has been the subject of a legal battle between his owners, the nonprofit group called Pets and Vets USA, and the DuPage County.
– A doggo can have the chance to prove he is not a dangerous dog.
– The doggo is the subject of a legal battle for two years now.
– The case came after the dog had a fight with another dog in 2018.
According to reports, the doggo got into a fight with another dog in 2018 resulting to a Shih Tzu-Pomeranian mix being injured. Since then, the DuPage County branded the doggo as dangerous. The dog is named Jordan and is a 100-pound pit bull and boxer mix. Just this week, a settlement was reached. A veterinary behaviorist will make a finding on the doggo to determine whether or not Jordan falls under the dangerous dog category. After the finding is submitted, the judge will make a decision about Jordan as to whether it can go about without putting on a muzzle.
However, the dog owners have to understand that if the dog will not be tagged as a dangerous dog after the findings, it will still have a record. If the dog will be involved in two more cases that would make it fall under the dangerous dog category, the dog will be declared vicious and it could come with different sanctions.
