Animal expert Zazie Todd shared that the separation between the pets and the owners will be easier if it starts now. Doggos and other pets will be okay with you being gone again for most time of the day but you should let them know now that it will be an inevitable situation. House pets like routine and when there is a sudden change, they get anxious. Experts advised that you should come up with a routine now that is most likely the same routine you will impose once everything goes back to normal.
You could leave the house for a grocery run or a walk in the park without your dog just so they would get that alone time they will be having a lot of once the pandemic is over.
