A total of 32 doggos were seized from the Baldoyle area in north Dublin. Accordingly, the search was made on the heels of an investigation regarding illegal puppy farms in the area.

Most of the dog breeds that were seized are Chihuahuas, Jack Russels, and pugs. Aside from the doggos, four horses were also seized. Six of the Chihuahuas seized were pregnant. All of the animals are now under the care of different animal rescue agencies.
The operation was carried out by uniformed gardai and animal rescue agencies. It is believed that the dogs and the horses are valued at €150,000 of $177, 915.
There are no planned arrests or criminal charges yet.
