Therapy dogs for the shooting survivors from the Parkland incident have their own year book. One of the students that the therapy dogs are helping said that these doggos are “going to be there until the last of us are gone.”

A total of 14 therapy dogs were part of the year book and according to the students at the school, they decided to put the doggos in so that they could have a “proper representation of our school and who we are now without giving so much focus to what happened to us in the past.” The shooting incident last February 14, 2018 claimed the lives of 17 students and staff.
The dogs have been permanent fixtures at the school. A handler of one of the dogs shared that the therapy dogs have a really special bond with the children and they have comforted a lot since the incident took place.
