The therapy dogs were part of Therapeutic Paws of Canada and they were invited to be featured in the exhibit of Halifax’s Discovery Centre.
The dogs that came to the event were child-certified therapy dogs. They underwent training and extensive evaluation processes in order to make sure that they socialize well with kids and adults.
Therapeutic Paws team leader Mark Grant said that their therapy dogs reduce stress in children’s and adults’ lives.
