– A therapy dog went missing last December.
– The dog’s body was later found.
– The dog used to keep a 12-year-old girl calm whenever she is…
According to reports, the dog was a three-year-old Dalmatian named Lottie. Thieves broke into their home and the family believes the thieves took the dog with them. This happened last December. There was a Facebook page set up in order to help look for Lottie but just recently, sad news was posted on the page. The mother of the 12-year-old dog owner shared that the dog’s body has been found and that they received a call saying that the dog’s identification was verified by the dog’s microchip.
The mother of the girl added on the post, “We never wanted this ending. We kept hopeful. Goodbye my crazy bunch of spots.” It is unclear how the dog owner reacted to the news but it was a fact that the girl needed the doggo to keep her calm whenever she was anxious.
Leicestershire Police have not yet released a statement about the matter.
