In one Ohio police department in Marblehead, they employed a tiny doggo to be their therapy dog. The doggo was adopted by the Marblehead Police Chief Casey Joy.

The rescued dog is still under training and the police chief is positive that the dog will soon pass as a rescue dog. The dog was adopted after it was displaced by Hurricane Florence. The dog is a four-month-old Chihuahua mix.
For now, the doggo rides along with the police chief during patrols and brings smiles to many faces every day. Other police officers said that their stress levels are decreased because of the rescue dog in training. The dog will soon visit homes, hospitals, and more in order to do his job as a therapy dog.
