The oldest doggos are believed to be in Britain. Some of them have exceeded the expected life span of 10 to 13 years.
– The oldest dog in Britain last year is 23-year-old Charlie.
– Now, the oldest dog is 21-year-old Boycie.
– Both the doggos are Jack Russells.
The oldest doggo in Britain, a Jack Russell named Charlie, died last year at the age of 23. Another Jack Russell named Boycie is now 147 years old in dog years, which is 21 years old in human years. The dog already has dementia and is a little bit deaf but still loves to go on walks. The next oldest doggo is 19-year-old Jack Russell-staffie cross, Shakey. The dog initially was mistreated and had aggressive mouth cancer. The vets gave the doggo three months to live but it is still alive and kicking to this day.
Fourth on the list is Cracker, a 17-year-old Patterdale terrier. The doggo already has arthritis but still loves to be outside a lot. Also aged 17 is Sandy, a Golden Retriever. The original dog owner of Sandy wanted to put the dog down because it had fleas. The dog owner said the secret to Sandy’s long life is that they let them do what the dog wants anytime she wants to do it. They don’t force her to go on walks or any other activity for that matter.
