There are a lot of senior doggos and terminally ill doggos abandoned by their humans because of their condition. Some are not adopted due to their situation. A program was recently launched to put an end to that so that these dogs will not suffer during their final days.
– New York City-based group Foster Dogs Inc. came up with a new program.
– The program is called Fospice.
– The program aims to help terminally ill and senior dogs.
A New York City-based group, Foster Dogs, Inc., then started the project called Fospice – which is a combination of the words foster and hospice. Basically, Fospice will let doggos have the comfort, love, and care they need at a foster home. The group has a database wherein 3,000 NY residents want to foster doggos in need.
The program will cover all the end of life expenses of the doggo. The organization hopes to bring Fospice all over the United States to help more doggos.
