– After a rain in McHenry, Kentucky, the waters started to rise.
– A dog was washed away by flood water.
– A teenager saw the doggo and he and his friend decided to..
The dog was spotted by one of the teens named Michael Taylor. The teenager said, “We’d seen the dog bobbing in the water for a few minutes and we were concerned about his safety.” The teens knew the dog was struggling so they did not hesitate to save the animal. It was a close call because the teens could only see the dog’s nose popping out of the water so it was clearly close to dying from drowning.
Many citizens were not surprised with what the teens did because they are described as “the hardest working group of guys” for their age. One citizen shared, “They’re always helping out somebody. So it didn’t surprise me a bit when they said they saved a dog.”
The doggo is now back with its owner. The dog is doing well and has not shown any sign of injury.
