A couple of strangers were able to rescue a doggo. The dog almost drowned in the Mosquito Creek last Friday.
– A dog was out for a walk with its owner near Mosquito Creek.
– The dog got into the water and was stuck under a big log.
– The dog owner tried to…
Accordingly, the dog owner was walking his doggo, a nine-year-old husky/shepherd-cross named Jasper, when the unthinkable happened. The dog owner said that he took his eyes off the doggo for just a few seconds and then she was nowhere to be found. The dog owner later saw the dog’s head out of the water and noticed the doggo was stuck under a big log. The human tried to pull the dog out but it was not an easy task. He then just tried to keep the dog from drowning by holding its head up.
Luckily, a woman came by who was also walking her dog. The woman called 911 but before the authorities could come, another man came and tried to get the dog out. Later, another person, who was out for a run, tried to help with the dilemma. The runner was the one who successfully got the dog out of the water and onto the shore.
The firefighters who were deployed arrived at the scene shortly after the dog was rescued. Everyone was checked for hypothermia or other injuries. None of them needed medical attention.
The dog owner then spoke to local media so he can thank the people who helped them properly.
