A new bill in South Korea was introduced by one Lee Sang-don, who moved for the banning of dog farms that breed doggos for human consumption. In South Korea, eating dog meat is believed to aid in one’s manliness. It is currently legal in South Korea to kill dogs for human consumption as long as the killing is not made in open areas.
In line with this, Gus Kenworthy, an American freestyle skier, who adopted a dog from South Korea during the Winter Olympics earlier this year, lost the same dog. The dog reportedly had lung problems.
