The dog owner recently graduated from Clarkson University for her master’s degree in occupational therapy. The service dog even had an honorary diploma for doing his job well. The board of trustees decided to honor the doggo because of the dog’s “extraordinary effort, steadfast commitment and diligent dedication to the well-being and student success” of its owner. The dog, a four-year-old Golden Retriever, was seen all smiles while on stage with its owner as they both accepted their diplomas.
The two worked at Fort Bragg, where soldiers suffering from mobility impairment and psycho-social disorders are placed. According to the dog owner, her service dog also helps other people at Fort Bragg.
