The doggo belongs to 16-year-old Katelyn Bovaird and this teenager depends on the doggo due to her reconstructive surgery and Down Syndrome. The family really wanted to reunite the two so they never gave up in finding the service doggo.
Just last week, a farmer named Jeremy Jenschke saw the dog in their property. The dog had a collar that had the phone number of the dog owners. So when the owners got a call, they were so emotional because they could not believe that Blade has finally been found.
The farmer was kind enough to drive the doggo home. One of the dog owners said, “When the farmer opened the door, he just started crying and was trying to jump out. I ran to him and took him out. He just kept jumping up on us and trying to give us kisses. He was crying this puppy cry trying to get to us.”
It is believed that the doggo has been out in the wild for the past months without any care or companion. The dog lost 30 pounds and is covered in sores, but is overall okay.
