A boy from Norwell, Massachusetts is partially paralyzed and in order to live normally and alert his family when he is suffering from seizures, he needs a service dog. To be able to get a service dog, he needs $17,000.

The family of the boy, identified as Finn Sears, could not afford the service dog so the community chipped in through donations in order to raise the needed amount. The mother of Sears started the fundraiser via Facebook and in less than a day, the money was raised. Kids event went over to their home to bring money from their piggy banks and families also donated for Sears. The Norwell Fire Department also gave donations.
Sears underwent brain surgery last February but he suffered from a stroke that is why he is partially paralyzed.
