Is a dog a stepping stone? Does this dog, gets hurt? Should anyone step on a dog? Recent news regarding Sarah Palin’s son standing on their family dog has sparked a lot of criticism and accusations for animal abuse.
The photo that appeared on Facebook as well as on Instagram has got nearly 68,500 likes and there are more than 23,000 comments that are sharply critical in nature.
As an answer to the various criticisms by PETA, Sarah Palin asked them to chill as her was only standing on the dog and not causing him any harm. Furthermore, as many people put in through comments that the dog could have moved and walked away if it was feeling hurt.

“Just because the dog is good enough not to react doesn’t mean it doesn’t
still hurt him… would you lay on the floor and let your son use YOU as
a stepping stool?” Catanya Nelson wrote. “Animals are family members
too and they should be treated as such. Just because you can does not
mean you should. Poor puppy.”
