Health Canada said that the saliva of ill dogs to be used as homeopathic remedy. One particular product will no longer be available in the country.

The product is called lyssin and the naturopath making it received complaints. This came after she used the product made from a sick dog’s saliva to treat a four-year-old boy for behavior and sleep issues. The naturopath who also made the products agreed to stop selling it. The woman claimed, however, that the boy was treated successfully using the dog saliva-based product.
The woman will, however, continue to use homeopathic remedy but will switch to a licensed product in order to comply with Health Canada regulations.
