A doggo was found tied to a church with a note from its owner. Part of the note said, “I love you and I’m so, so, so sorry.”
– A dog was left at a church.
– The dog owner left a note with the dog.
– The dog owner said he or she did not plan this but it was the only thing left to be done because…
The dog is a Staffordshire bull terrier cross named Cracker. The dog was left at the altar of the Sacred Heart Church. The dog owner explained in the note that life has “taken a really bad turn for me” and he or she could not imagine living in the streets with the doggo being both cold and hungry. The dog owner added that the decision to leave the dog at the church was not an easy thing to do because his or her dog meant the world to him or her.
The dog was taken in by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) in the area. In the note, the owner added that the dog is friendly and loving and would turn seven years old by March 2020. The dog also has tender paws and they are still sore despite being treated by the dog owner for a month.
The dog is now up for adoption.
