A Florida bar is now under fire after they refused to serve a man, who is a veteran. They reportedly refused him service because he has his service doggo with him.
– A veteran went to a bar in Florida.
– He had his service dog with him.
– They refused him service and told him the dog could…
The man, identified as Stephen Harmon, said that when he walked inside, he was immediately told doggos were not allowed in there and when Harmon said that it was a service dog, the manager reportedly told him that the dog could stay but he should leave.
Police were then called to the bar and when asked what the problem was, the manager told them they just did not want to serve Harmon.
Days after the first incident, a few more veterans with their own service doggos went to the bar and they got the same treatment. The incident was videoed and has since gone viral because a different manager told them the same thing, “The dogs can stay, but the owners of the dogs have to leave.”
Another manager of the bar issued an apology later. Despite that, Harmon is determined to filed a discrimination lawsuit against the bar.
