The dog is a Cane Corso and is two years old. When the rescue center started taking care of the animal, it was malnourished and was nursing six puppies. Although the six pups were adopted out, the momma dog had to stay behind because it had issues that needed to be worked on.
The dog is believed to have been used for breeding. It was very scared of people but with the love, care, and attention of the people at the center, the dog slowly showed off her real colors.
The dog will soon be up for adoption. The center hopes the adopters have a quiet home and have experience with large breeds in the past. The home must likewise not have small children.
