The president of Wair Rescue revealed that the dog, Mickey, was rescued with another dog and both were found covered in mange. However, Mickey’s condition was way worse than that of the other dog. His skin is bleeding and you could only imagine how that hurts. They added on their Facebook page that the dog has barely a spot where the staff can pet him because his whole body just hurts from the infection.
The dogs were taken from the county animal control. The rescue center shared that the staff at the county animal control did all that they could but it was not enough because they do not have “around the clock support that we do.” The dog is expected to make a full recovery in a couple of months.
