– A dog has been fostered by “Queer Eye” star Antoni Porowski.
– He decided to foster a dog because they were quarantined in Austin, Texas.
– They are filming their sixth season in the area when the quarantine was implemented.
The doggo is from Austin Pets Alive (APA) in Texas. “Queer Eye” stars are actually filming their show’s sixth season in the area and were not able to go back to their homes due to the quarantine. In a statement, Porowski shared, “It’s very important for us to support our local shelters because they’re getting a lot less foot traffic during this crazy ol’ pandemic. So whether you’re ready to adopt, I encourage you to do that … and if you can’t commit to adopting, then I would encourage fostering as well.” Fostering can last for a week or two because what is important is doggos can get someone to care for them during this time. The dog that Porowski fostered is a pit-beagle mix named Neon.
APA hopes to get at least 50 percent of their doggos into foster homes.
