An author said she was barred from flying with Qantas airline because of her support doggo. The airlines said that the organization that the writer works with does not have the right accreditation.

The support dog is for the writer’s mental health condition such as anxiety. She was supposed to fly to Alice Springs for a festival but she was not allowed even if she had documents to prove that her dog Virginia is appropriately trained and will really help her with her disability. The writer said she is puzzled because she filled in “a great deal of paperwork” for the past seven weeks prior to her flight regarding her support dog.
The airline issued a statement saying that the writer did not provide the needed information that is why she was not allowed to fly with her support dog.
