Make sure that these dogs are protected by coats that cover their chest and abdomen whenever you guys go out for a walk. If it’s raining or snowing, get a waterproof coat.
Also, get your dog a brightly-colored dog clothing and a dog muff when you decide to have the dog go off-leash in order for you to find your dog easily.
Since the roads are wet or covered in snow during this season, be sure to get your dog some dog boots to help protect them. Once you get home from the walk or hike, rinse your dog’s paws in a basin of warm water.
