A dog and a dog owner were out for a walk when what was supposed to be a fun time turned out to be tragic. A driver hit the dog and the dog owner and did not even bother to stop and check on them.

The incident took place last Thursday at around 5:45 P.M. at the junction of Rawson Street and Moss Street in Farnworth, Bolton in the United Kingdom. The driver just drove towards the doggo, a Pomeranian, and the dog owner. Initially, the driver stopped but did not get out of the car. Later, the driver fled from the scene.
The dog owner is suffering from minor injuries while the doggo, a 10-year-old furry friend, died. Police are asking for anyone who could provide them with details to come forward.
