A former police doggo in Nova Scotia just passed away. Now, she is being remembered for being great at her job when he tracked murder suspects and helped in locating people that were missing.

The dog, named Baylee, served the police force for seven years before retiring in 2018. She was then taken in by his handler, Const. Brent Bates. Accordingly, the dog was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure in July and since then, her health worsened. Bates noted in a statement that the dog was great at work because she had the right personality and never gave up until they chased they “found the bad guy or found the missing kid.” She was deployed to a total of 3,100 calls for service.
If she was still alive, she would have celebrated her 11th birthday this November.
