First on the list is basil. It’s great for humans and also great for animals. Another is the spider plant. Accordingly, this houseplant is nontoxic to pets but if the dog chews the whole thing together with the soil, the doggo could have digestive issues.
One more plant on the list is the Boston fern. It is a hanging plant thus your dog or cat cannot reach it easily. Succulents from the echeveria family are also recommended because they are safe for all kinds of pets.
