A doggo was abandoned in a New York City park and was sitting in a puddle of water, which made it even colder for him. A New York cop found the doggo and he did not have the heart to leave the doggo alone and shivering.
– A dog was abandoned at a New York park last December.
– The dog was rescued by a New York police officer.
– The cop took the dog to a shelter but…
The dog, an 11-month-old pit bull mix, was abandoned last December. Fortunately, the police officer, identified as Michael Pascale, saw the doggo during a routine patrol in the area. The dog was not moving that much anymore but still whimpered when he saw the cop. The cop said that the dog was “just looking up at me with these eyes.”
The cop then took the dog to a local shelter. However, the shelter was already crowded and the dog will be put down if no one adopts him. Pascale eventually rescued the doggo from the shelter. The police officer said that he felt he had the responsibility to make sure the doggo was going to have a great home.
