The survey was conducted by Rover and it concluded that 33 percent of millenials spent more than usual for their fur babies during this pandemic. Only 10 percent of baby boomers increased their spending for their fur babies during this time. The baby boomers said in the survey that they have spent as much as they did in the past months before the pandemic.
The new survey comes in the heels of the other survey that found millennial men spend more on their fur babies compared to millennial women. Men reportedly spent more on organic pet food and were more likely to take their pets to daycare and spend money for birthday parties of their doggos.
