When Police and animal welfare officers raided a breeding farm in Broughton they found several dogs living in a pitiable state. There were one Beagle, two French Bulldogs, three Alsatians, one Doberman and many small sized dogs removed on grounds of welfare.
Robert Fishwick, 44, was found to be the owner of the breeding farm and he currently has 5 offences in accordance the Animal Welfare Act, levied against him.
The officer said the property was in a horrible condition. There was no water or food. It smelled of urine and feces. Some of the dogs were found to be living on their own feces and they had to be euthanized.

What happened to the dogs?
Good news is that the rest of the animals have been re-homed. Fishwick is fined and banned from owning animals for the next 5 years.
