The injured dog is a Belgian Malinois named Cvoky while the donating doggo is named Army. Cvoky’s temperature reached almost 110 degrees, which is a life-threatening situation. Accordingly, Cvoky was not himself during a training even on June 9 and days later, they sought medical help. Capt. Jon Drake, a veterinarian in charge in Kuwait, shared, “Many dogs that reach high temperatures like this one did, do not survive.” Thankfully, the handler of Cvoky acted fast and the necessary blood transfusion was made possible by Army.
Now, Cvoky is back to his old self and is relaxing and enjoying life.
