A music teacher just published a children’s book called “Rory the Rescue Dog.” The story was actually inspired by her two rescue doggos, who were adopted from Cheltenham Animal Shelter.
– A music teacher wrote a book.
– The book is based on her two rescue doggos.
– The book comes with a dance, songs, and poems, too.
The author, Paula Towers, said that the story centers on the rescue doggo becoming a rescuer. She noted that the ultimate objective as to why she wrote a book was because she wanted “a book that would enable children to be aware of, and care for, the creatures around them.”
Aside from the story itself, the book also has a dance, poems, and songs. She also wants to help children who wants to learn how to play a musical instrument that is why she wrote original music to accompany some of the songs in the book. The book comes with pdf and mp3 files.
Parts of the proceeds from the books that will be sold will be given to the shelter mentioned above.
