– A man hopes to get to Vancouver with his dog.
– The man became homeless in 2016.
– His first dog already died but…
The two are from St. Catharines in Ontario, Canada and they are walking across Western Canada. The dog owner is hoping to raise awareness as to the lack of shelters in his area that caters to homeless people with pets. The dog owner shared that his social worker told him he had to go to a homeless shelter but he had to give up his dog. However, that was not an option for the dog owner so they embarked on their journey to walk across Western Canada. This was in 2016 and now they are already 40 kilometers southeast of Winnipeg.
The doggo of the homeless man when he started his walk already died last year. He has a new dog and the dog owner hopes to finish his walk with his new doggo. They hope to make it to Vancouver.
