A man stole a doggo last Friday from the Toronto Human Society and police just identified the suspect. The man reportedly stole a 10-month-old doggo.
– A man went to the Toronto Humane Society to steal a dog.
– The man went there previously and demanded for a free dog.
– He was able to leave the shelter with a doggo without the staff noticing.
According to reports, the man went to the shelter then leashed the doggo. He then proceeded to walk out the front door with the stolen doggo. Per the shelter, the man already went there thrice. He has demanded to be given a free doggo and was refused every time he asked for such. On the day he went to steal the dog, he wore a completely different outfit and was not recognizable by the staff.
The police then received tips from witnesses about the man who stole the dog. Later, he was identified as Christopher Rich, 31 years old. He is now wanted on theft charges.
The dog is said to be a tan retriever and hound mix. The dog’s name is Milo. The stolen dog was supposed to be at an adoption event called Paws in the Park the following day.
