– A dog owner could be evicted from his home.
– He was advised by doctors to get an emotional support dog.
– However, when he got one, although it helped him mentally, he is now facing…
The man got the doggo in 2018 and the dog, a beagle, helps the dog owner to get through his anxiety and panic attacks. According to the dog owner, without the doggo, he would not be able to get out of the house alone. Unfortunately, the Plymouth Community Homes found out that he had a doggo. They then ordered him to have the dog re-homed because pets are not allowed. The landlord noted that the dog owner has breached their tenancy agreement. The dog owner now faces the possibility of being evicted from the home, which has been his residence for eight years now.
The case is already before the court. Another hearing will be in January and the dog owner has to stay in his home with his doggo until then.
