A man claims that he was removed from a flight so that a dog could travel first class. The man is now suing American Airlines over the incident.
– A man was on his way home from Las Vegas.
– He was seated beside a woman with a support dog.
– He was allergic to dogs so…
The man is bound for Central Texas and he was travelling from Las Vegas. The man was to fly in first class after a layover. He later discovered that the passenger traveling beside him was with a support dog. It would not have been a problem but the man was allergic to dogs. He then showed signs of allergic reaction minutes after the dog and the owner sat beside him. The dog owner tried to find another seat but the captain and the crew later got involved. Accordingly, the captain asked the man to seat in the back of the plane.
When they got to Phoenix, the man was escorted off the plane without any medication or his luggage. He said he feels he was less than a dog.
American Airlines claims that the man was just removed from the flight because he caused a confrontation. A lawyer on the same flight supports the man’s story. A spokesperson for the company said they will review the matter.
