The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) wants to help a dog find its forever home. This comes after more than three thousand potential adopters would have given him a happily ever after but they chose other dogs over him.

The dog is named Blue and was taken in by the animal charity last May 2017. The previous owners of the dog had to surrender him because they can no longer take care of him. The dog is a lurcher and was supposed to have a forever home in October of 2017 but was returned later because of the dog’s strong character. The shelter where Blue is staying already put up ads on social media and newspapers to help find him a new home but nothing was successful.
The RSPCA hopes that the new dog owner or owners will have no other pets at home and have experiences with lurchers.
