The male doggo reportedly arrived with its owner in Wuhan and five days after being admitted to the hospital, the dog owner died. The dog refused to leave the premises and has been eating food scraps given by the hospital staff. A person running the hospital’s supermarket, identified as Wu Cuifen, started caring for the doggo when the lockdown in Wuhan was lifted. Wu shared that he even gave the doggo a name, which is Xiao Bao. This means Little Treasure in English. Every morning, the doggo would wait for the shop to open.
