It really is the time for Christmas miracles! A pug is back home almost a month after the dog got lost while under the care of another person.
– A dog went missing on November 21.
– The dog was found almost a month later.
– The dog is now recovering.
The dog was taken care of by a friend of a couple from Mansfield. The couple was on their vacation when they got a call that their dog got lost on November 21.
A woman, identified as Melody Anderson, then saw the dog on December 15. Anderson later told Stephanie Garrison about the sighting.
Garrison then started a page on Facebook to ask for help to look for the two-year-old dog.
Eventually, the dog was captured by Richland County Dog Warden’s Office after setting a trap.
The dog was taken to a veterinarian for a check-up. He lost a total of eight pounds but is now feeling better. People said the dog was lucky to have survived the cold weather and the coyotes in the area.
