According to the founder of Lass, most of the dogs that were brought to them were hit by cars, were abused, or were just abandoned. LASS is all for adopting instead of shopping and they want people to give these dogs a chance to be in a good home. LASS will be holding a Christmas charity bazaar on December 22 in hopes of having their dogs adopted. The event will be at the Waterfront in Desa Park City from 4 P.M. to 10 P.M.
LASS also rescues cats but they do not have a problem with their adoption because they get re-homed faster than doggos.
