In Cleveland, Ohio, a kennel on Detroit Avenue has reached its capacity. They are now asking people to adopt if they really want to get a doggo.
– A kennel at Ohio has reached its capacity.
– They usually have stray dogs under their care.
– Most of the dogs are American pit bull terriers or pit bull mix.
Accordingly, the kennel has 144 dogs and it was designed to handle only 150 dogs. The shelter manager said that they bring in dogs almost every day because the kennel is responsible for handling all the stray dogs. Most of the dogs that they take care of are American pit bull terriers or pit bull mix. The more popular dog breeds are placed in other shelters when the kennel already reach the full capacity.
Volunteers of the kennel will take some of the doggos home until the dogs get re-homed permanently. If you want to adopt, you can inquire at Cleveland’s Division of Animal Control Services. The kennel is open from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at 10 A.M. through 3 P.M. for the rest of the week.
