A student was able to come up with a cost-effective solution to help doggos be calm during the season of fireworks. She cut a sock and placed it over the head of her doggos covering their ears. Accordingly, it has helped her doggo relax and be less anxious when hearing these loud noises.
– A student came up with a solution to calm her doggos during fireworks season.
– The solution was to cut the toes and ankle part of a sock and put it over the head and ears of the doggo.
– She claims that this makes doggos feel like…
The student said that she thought of a way to calm her doggo without wasting money on products that do not really work. Basically, she just cut the ankle part and toes of the socks. This reportedly makes a compression and makes the dog feel like it is being cuddled. Hence, the less anxious and more relaxed doggo.
The trick really works for her five-month-old and nine-year-old doggos named Cookie and Ruby. The dog owner said that she tried many different tricks in the past and this was the only one that worked. There are similar products on the market but they were too tight and the dogs were not comfortable. The dog owner said that they discovered this hack last year and is using it again this year.
The DIY hack was uploaded on Facebook. Many people commented on the photo saying that it was a really good idea.
