A dog was taken by its humans out on a hike over the weekend. However, the dog could no longer finish the hike so the dog owners called the firefighters to help get the dog down.

The dog and its humans hiked the Maxwell Falls trail in Colorado. The dog was described as 120 pounds and is five years of age. The dog was already dehydrated and when the firefighters were asked to help, they knew that the dog was really having a difficult time because some parts of the trail are too steep.
The team of firefighters that was deployed in the area then carried the dog using a stretcher. It is unclear, however, how the dog is feeling now.
